Main Street Live. Held Downtown Bradenton once a month, listen to live music and experience downtown festivities with your neighbors. Enjoy food from quality vendors, local arts and crafts and more.
Manatee Players Theatre. A nationally awarded live performing arts theater located in downtown Bradenton. This quality troop performs fantastic shows all year round to rave reviews. The state of the art theater provides a venue that allows the audience to thoroughly enjoy the experience.
Art Center Manatee. Take classes or shop for local artists works. It features 3 art galleries, 5 classrooms, a gift shop full of really fine local arts and gifts, and an artists library containing over 3000 books.
Horse Back Surfing. Invented right here in Bradenton on the Palma Sola Causeway, you can ride well trained horses in the water where the horses enjoy a swim. While the horse swims, the brave will stand and surf the horse. It is hard to tell who is having more fun; the horse or the human.
Public Library. Downtown on the waterfront and filled throughout with all the resources a great library should have. They have a full calendar of events which includes special events, workshops and clubs for people of all ages.
Downtown Farmers Market. Saturdays shop for fresh produce, plants, flowers and products brought in from our local area farms, local vendors and local artists. Easy listening live music fills the air and sets the scene for a casual outdoor shopping experience.
Kayaking. If you enjoy floating on the water, our area has incredible opportunities. Many miles of the Manatee river and it's offshoots, Palma Sola Bay, and the wonderful waterways throughout Robinson's Preserve. Bring your own, or rent from one of our local vendors.
